Pathology residency is a stage of graduate medical training.Pathology itself though is nothing but the study of diagnosis of disease. A pathology residency may precede the internship year or include the internship year as the first year of residency. The residency can also be preceded by a fellowship, during which the physician is trained in a sub specialty. It is compulsory to complete residency education before exercising in many jurisdictions.
